September 2011
I'm Jacey, (that's me with that handsome man in the above pic ;). I just recently said good-bye to my twenties and stepped into the new world of 30's. I was raised in a small town near Quincy, Illinois. I grew up with my older sister and three younger brothers and an amazing mom to keep us all in line. I LOVE being from a big family... I couldn't imagine life any other way! My parents divorced when I was young and I still thank God to this day that he was able to create two such amazing and incredible people, that no matter their own differences, they still made it right for us kids.
I'm real. I'm independent.
I'm honest and true. I'm black & white.
I try to see the positive in everything... my glass is always 1/2 FULL. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe hard work will get you where ever you choose to be. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. I believe you should treat everyone with a kind heart, you never know their current situation. I sometimes over analyze things. I have a tendency to over commit. If I tell you I'll do it, consider it done. Politics can 'light my fire'. I love having things planned, but can 'fly by the seat of my pants' and still have a great time... some of the best things in life are unplanned. I'm a medical sales rep. and have been with the same company for 5+ years. My family means the most... jobs, money, & things may go away, but in the end, my family will always be my rock.
My Siblings & I
I went to SIUC and received a BS Biology/minor Chemistry. After college, life brought me to the Kansas City area. Within a year of being here and a relationship gone bad (yes... That's why I moved here), I landed an opportunity with a local company that kept me here.
I met my now husband, Jack, with the help from the Man above. I was out with a girlfriend, and for the sake of a short story...we met November 30, 2007 while her and I where grabbing a drink one evening. Our meeting, was a little rocky for the first hour or so. I definitely had God looking down upon me that night because for some reason Jack saw past my shortness and 'attitude' and we spent time together (almost)
every day after. He asked me out on January 1, 2008.

I became the luckiest bride in the entire world when we said our vows on October 3, 2009.
I love being married. We do not define each other, but yet complete the definition of partners. Marriage isn't always easy, but neither is life. We laugh together, cry together, disagree with one another, protect one another, and at the end of every day, love always remains.
We have two EXTREMELY spoiled doggies who I sometimes wonder who's in control... us, or them.

Fall - 2010
I feel blessed every day with the things God has provided me. I'm thankful for even the smallest things in life and I never take things for granted. I may not have all the 'things' this big world offers, but in my heart, I have it all!
